Bought a new computer or laptop? We set it up properly in your Perth home or office: Windows or macOS updates, your accounts and email, printers and WiFi, the programs you actually use, and all your files, photos and bookmarks copied across from the old machine.
Most people only buy a new computer every five years or so, which is exactly why setting one up is harder than it looks — passwords are forgotten, the old printer driver will not install, and the family photos turn out to be in three different places. We work through it in one visit and leave the old computer untouched until you have checked that everything made it across.
New computer setup is charged at our standard rate of $205 per hour on-site or $125 per hour remotely, with a one-hour minimum. How long it takes depends mostly on how much data is being moved and how many programs need reinstalling — we will give you an idea when you book.
