08 6385 7940iiNet and Westnet both started in Western Australia, so Perth is full of old iiNet and Westnet mailboxes — and since that email moved to The Messaging Company, plenty of WA households and small businesses have been left with settings that half-work. If you are ready to move to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, we plan the switch, copy every folder across and set up every phone and computer so mail keeps flowing.
What We Set Up, Move and Fix
Email Migration
Move mail, folders, contacts and calendars from BigPond, iiNet, Optusnet, Gmail, cPanel or another tenant — without losing a message.
New Business Email
Set up you@yourbusiness.com.au on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, with your domain connected properly.
SPF, DKIM & DMARC
Add the domain records that stop your mail landing in junk and make it harder for scammers to impersonate you.
Shared Mailboxes & Calendars
info@ and accounts@ mailboxes, shared calendars and meeting rooms set up so the whole team can see them.
Multi-Factor Authentication
Turn on MFA for every account, with backup options, so a stolen password alone is not enough.
New Starters & Leavers
Add a new staff member, or close someone’s account and keep their mail — without paying for licences you no longer need.
How a Move to Microsoft 365 Works
Every migration follows the same order, which is what keeps it painless. First we look at what you have — how many mailboxes, whether there are shared addresses like info@ or accounts@, where your domain is registered and who controls its DNS. That tells us how long the job is and whether it can be done remotely.
Next the new mailboxes are created and your existing mail is copied into them while the old system keeps working. Nobody notices anything at this stage. When the copy has caught up, we change your domain's mail records so new email starts arriving in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, then do a final pass to pick up anything that landed in the old mailbox during the switch.
Finally we set up each person's computer and phone, check that sending and receiving works, and walk you through the new login and multi-factor authentication. The old mailbox is left alone until you are happy everything is there.
Why Perth Small Businesses Make the Switch
The usual trigger is a problem: a full mailbox, an ISP email that is being wound down, a staff member who left with the only password, or customers saying your emails are going to their junk folder. Business email on your own domain solves all four, and it means your email no longer depends on which internet provider you happen to use.
It also closes a common security gap. Old ISP and web-host mailboxes rarely support multi-factor authentication, and they are a favourite target for scammers who take over an account and send fake invoices to your customers. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace both support MFA and the domain protections that make that much harder.
